For the Maintenance Treatment of Asthma

When a rescue inhaler alone is not enough, your doctor may prescribe ASMANEX®. ASMANEX® is a type of asthma treatment commonly referred to as a "maintenance inhaler." When used daily, ASMANEX® 220 mcg may help patients 12 and older:

  • Manage asthma symptoms around the clock, to help you have fewer symptoms and breathe easier
  • Reduce the number of times you need to use a rescue inhaler

It is important to know that a maintenance inhaler like ASMANEX® cannot replace a rescue inhaler for sudden symptoms.

For Youths 12 and Older and Adults

ASMANEX® TWISTHALER® 220 mcg is for patients 12 years of age and older.

Once-Daily Dosing for Some Patients

For some patients 12 and older, taking ASMANEX® 220 mcg once a day may help manage their asthma symptoms. Others may require twice-daily dosing. Your doctor will review your medical history and recommend a dosing schedule that is right for you. (More information about dosing.)
